“Basically I can Commit any Crime I Want and Pardon Myself,” Trump Exclaims on Twitter

Washington: In presidential fashion, Monday morning President Trump tweeted that it was within his constitutional right to pardon himself if he was ever charged with a crime. “Basically I can commit any crime I want and pardon myself. It’s my own get out of jail free card. Isn’t that cool?” exclaimed Mr. Trump.

Legal experts were worried that the president might use his pardon power to aide him and his troubles in the Russia investigation but Sarah Huckabee Sanders assured the public that this was not the case. “President Trump would never obstruct the Russia investigation with his pardon power. He simply wants to use it to get rid of any sexual crimes he might have happened to commit.”
