Politicians and Media Decide Gun Violence isn’t a Problem Unless Part of a Mass Shooting

The Plebian: The news media has decided that gun violence is not a problem unless its involved in mass shooting. “If some black kid gets shot in Chicago, who gives a shit?” said Sean Hannity of fox news. “It only matters if it happens in mass at a shopping mall.”

We reached out across the isle to senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont to comment on the manner and he gave some policy points. “In the democratic party we think that we should ban assault weapons to prevent mass shootings.” When asked about the handguns that are involved the vast majority of shootings and gun death in America, Sanders responded, “those only affect inner city black kids and suicidal people. I’m from Vermont, we don’t have black kids there.”

According to a recent poll run by The Plebian, 85% of Americans dislike mass shootings and gun violence but only 30% of Americans were willing to change any part of their life to help fix the problem.
